Fire Advisory Board - 1/2 through Chapter 9 for COG amendments.
Building Code Amendments near completion. Jeff Shapiro has contacted FPANT representatives to start the discussion and work on the residential sprinkler legislation for the State. Discussion included work through the legislative committee on recommendation or a letter from FPANT to building officials and state reps, work with other state fire protection organizations, and meet with building officials to get support in each jurisdiction.
Have fire departments or other representatives to submit for the FPANT newsletter lessons learned or fire prevention activity due to fires or other options to showcase. Presentation: Larry Pruitt briefly discussed SMPL’s fire retardant application techniques and NFPA requirements. Stephen Epstein - VP – made a request to the membership of ideas for meetings and training for the next year – please email the officers or board members with such.
