Mr. Sean DeCrane with the Cleveland Fire Department will provide a presentation on Inspection of Firestop Systems from the International Firestop Council.

Overview

Sean DeCrane with the Cleveland Fire Department will provide 4 hours of training on firestop systems from the International Firestop Council. This training is non-product specific. His goal is to reach as many AHJ’s as possible with this free training opportunity. Topics Include: Containment in construction, Code requirements, How are Firestop Systems tested, and Each participant receives the IFC Firestopping Inspection Manual Pocket Guide, a comprehensive pocket reference.

The International Firestop Council (IFC) is a non-profit organization of industry experts committed to making buildings safer through compartmentalization and has developed this free Inspection of Firestop Systems seminar to assist Building Officials, Fire Inspectors, Fire Marshals, Design professionals, Contractors and more to ensure firestop systems meet governing codes. This presentation is a Generic, non-product specific, presentation given by the experts from the IFC membership. The free seminar focuses on the requirements, proper inspection and enforcement needed for various firestop applications.
